Staffing

John Sullivan and Josh Marshall will both be returning as the Assistant Professional’s. Travis Moore will be returning to head up our outside services and oversee the bag room staff.

**Online Tee Times***

One of the Pro Shop Staff’s primary goals will be to continue the use of the online tee time system, Tee-On Golf Systems.Tee On has successfully added a mobile app to their platform, we will be unveiling this to begin the season. An email dedicated to the onboarding of all members will be sent in the near future. Your old username and password have become invalid and a new website will be used if you choose to book your starting times from a desktop computer or Ipad. The dedicated use of this system from all members will allow the Pro Shop staff to provide better service and be more prepared and equipped for your arrival. Please contact any member of the Pro Shop staff if you are experiencing issues or have questions as we move forward with the use of this program. Tee times are always recommended!

Bag Storage and Pull Cart Storage

The Pro Shop has open slots anticipated for the storage of your golf clubs and push carts this season. The club has recognized the need for more storage and has created added space under the west deck. This weatherproof room is under construction but will be open in the near future. This is a great opportunity to save yourself the trouble of lugging your clubs around all season long. Additionally, you can keep your clubs looking brand new with complimentary cleaning service after each round. Spots are assigned on a first come first served basis. If you had a spot last season, it has already been reserved for you. If you intend on NOT using your space from last season please let us know.

Communication

Email is the fastest and most convenient way for the Pro Shop staff to communicate with the members. It is the staff’s intention to send at least one email each week (Sunday) with updates and announcements. If you did not receive regular emails last year please provide us your most up-to-date email below. Please remember, the pro shop also oversees an active Instagram account. We will share new items to the shop and also report tournament results and anything new and fun going on at the club.If you have had a change in email or cell number please use this link to share your updated information with the pro shop.

Cart Card

The option to purchase a prepaid Cart Card will once again be available to all members looking to keep track of their annual cart charges and keep their monthly bill clean of those charges. You can purchase this card at any point with a minimum purchase of $500 to get a 10% bonus added to the card. The card purchase must be paid at the time of purchase with either cash or check.

Handicap and GHIN

Most members have an active GHIN account, please make sure you download the USGA GHIN app on your mobile device to make scoreposting easy. Another added bonus to the GHIN App is course yardage through GPS. See our pro shop staff with any questions regarding proper use and policies for accurately keeping your handicap. When posting your scores we will also encourage everyone to post hole by hole, this will properly utilize equitable stroke control, and provide great historical information regarding the difficulty of each individual hole. Most of our membership participates in at least one league, help increase league validity by posting your scores!

Driving Range

The driving range will open as soon as picking golf balls is permitted. An email will be sent to notify you of when the Range officially opens. The improved range mats have been a success and well received, we will utilize them every Monday and Thursday. Please remember our range is limited to 185 yards. While practicing, do your best to keep ALL shots within the trees and within sight. Hole 17 runs adjacent to the range and any errant shot hit towards hole 17 should be accompanied with a “FORE”. Any player having to enter the range from hole 17 has priority and you must stop hitting while they are in the range. Please make sure everyone within your household utilizing the range is aware of this.

Reciprocals

Tuscarora has a tremendous amount of wonderful reciprocals, when using these we ask that you follow a couple basic guidelines to ensure all courses use a uniform way of conducting reciprocals.

members are unable to make starting times directly.

*Reciprocals can NOT be booked more than 1 week in advance.

*Please DO NOT Call ahead and see if the reciprocal is available

Course Care

Every golf cart is equipped with sand to help fill divots throughout the golf course. Walking sand bottles can be found at the 1st tee and halfway house. We encourage all golfers to utilize either of these methods to leave the golf course in better condition than we found it. When done with your round, please remember to return the walking sand bottles to the bag stand so our staff can fill and return it to the first tee. Raking bunkers and fixing ball marks are something we all must remember as well!

The Pro Shop staff would appreciate it if all players checked in the Pro Shop before they tee off. This allows the staff to know who is on the property and can notify you of any group play or incoming weather issues. All play must begin on the first hole unless permission is given by someone on the professional staff.

2026 Junior Golf Program

Junior Golf is vital to growing the game and we try to promote that to the best of our abilities. The course will provide a starter clinic to kick off the summer. In the weeks following the clinic, the club will provide the course every Thursday morning for the membership to bring their children and/or grandchildren for golf with their peers. The pro shop will make pairings and set a couple of fun options to get some golf in without the everyday pressure of a busy course. We recommend all juniors to take part in this program as we have seen first hand the long standing positive effects of starting children at a young age. Parents/Grandparents are always welcomed to stay to “caddie” and help guide them around the course.

Merchandise and Demo Days

The Pro Shop will be fully stocked and competitively priced. Look for great brands including Titleist, FootJoy, TaylorMade,Callaway, Mizuno, Under Armour, Imperial, Nike, Bettinardi, Greyson, Vineyard Vine, Swannies, Good - Good, Puma, Ping, and Lululemon. If the Pro Shop does not have an item or brand you are looking for please let a staff member know so that special arrangements can be made. Demo days are currently being scheduled with representatives from Titleist, Callaway, Mizuno, and TaylorMade. Dates and times will be made available in the upcoming weeks. As always when looking into new equipment we recommend being professionally fit to ensure you are receiving all the advantages you are entitled to.
